Accrual
A period recognition of program economics before final billing or settlement.
Basis
The transaction value, units, margin, usage, or other measure to which a rate applies.
Chargeback
A distributor reimbursement for selling at an authorized price below acquisition cost.
Claim
A formal request for payment or credit under a program.
Contra revenue
A reduction of gross revenue used for qualifying customer incentives and allowances.
Deduction
An amount a customer subtracts from payment because it believes a credit is due.
Eligibility
The conditions a transaction, product, partner, or activity must satisfy before a rule applies.
Minimum guarantee
The minimum contractual consideration due for a period or term.
Obligation
An open contractual duty to pay, credit, perform, or otherwise resolve an earned amount.
Program
A governed set of commercial terms, eligible parties and activity, calculation rules, and financial workflows.
Settlement
The controlled financial resolution of an approved program balance.
True-up
An adjustment that brings a prior estimate to the currently supported amount.
